Engineman 1st Class Carlos Drake was born in Panama City, Panama, recruited out of Orlando, Florida, and has been in the Navy for 19 years.

He says he joined the Navy to follow in his father’s footsteps and travel the USA.

The most rewarding part of recruiting for him is seeing applicants that are willing to do something bigger than themselves and then helping them get there.

Aviation Ordnanceman 2nd Class Gabriella Posadas hails from San Antonio, Texas and has been in the Navy for 8 years.

AO2 says she joined the Navy because her grandfather served for 8 years during The Vietnam War and nobody in her family has served in the Navy since his enlistment.

The most rewarding part of recruiting for her is being able to attend cool events and meet new people. She also likes to find people who want to change their lives and become their biggest advocate.
