The City of Pittsburgh is going all out for America’s 250th Birthday!
Working alongside a number of local nonprofit and business partners, we’ve put together a celebration that will feature days of events, a full lineup of free entertainment, and the largest fireworks show Pittsburgh has seen in decades.

Pittsburgh is ready to ring in America’s 250th Birthday!
After being named USA TODAY’s #1 Fourth of July Celebration in the country, we’re partnering with Allegheny County Government, America250PA, BNY , National Flag Foundation, The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, and Heinz History Center for an incredible lineup of events leading up to July 4:

🌉 Andy Warhol Bridge 100th Birthday Bash
🎤 Nelly, Third Eye Blind & FRZY at Point State Park
🎨 Market Square celebrations, concerts, trivia & mini golf
🚩 National Flag Foundation Sojourn 250
🎻 Free Pittsburgh Symphony concerts across the region
🎶 Sing250 Choral Series
🎭 Fourth of July at Arts Landing
🇺🇸 Fourth at the Fort
Then on July 4, enjoy food vendors, family activities, a veterans wellness space, a hot-air balloon, live entertainment, the Piatt Companies’ Salute to Service Wheel, Plain White T's on the BNY Main Stage, Light to Unite, a first-ever drone show, and the largest fireworks display Pittsburgh has seen in decades.
We’re also inviting residents to help create Pittsburgh’s Time Capsule of Tomorrow for residents 100 years from now.
