Reminder that Monday, June 1st is bulk item pickup day with Fayette Waste. One large item may be put out to the curb. If you have more than one bulky item, you may make arrangements with Fayette Waste for a special pickup by calling 724-430-0100

Reminder that due to Memorial Day, trash pickup will be on Tuesday, May 26th!

Reminder that Primary Election Day is Tuesday, May 19th from 7am - 8pm. All polling locations vote at the borough building located at 12 Monongahela Avenue. Borough offices will be closed for the day.

Town Hall Rescheduled

The Town Hall scheduled for May 12th to discuss the Consent Order and Agreement with the DEP regarding the Sewage Plant must be rescheduled. Once the Borough receives the Agreement from the DEP, a new date for the Town Hall will be announced.

Glassport Borough’s E Waste Dumpster has been delivered. It is located at the public works garage in the rear lot. Please place your E Waste (tv, computer, etc) next to the dumpster. Public Works will place everything in the dumpster. This is for Glassport residents only. Thank you!

Reminder that trash pickup tomorrow, May 4th is also bulk pickup day. One large item may be put out for pickup. Also, please make sure all items in the cans are put in bags. The trash hauler will not take loose items per the contract.

Glassport Borough Council is seeking letters of interest for the vacant council seat. Letters of interest are to be turned in to the borough office by Tuesday, May 5th at 4pm. Letters can also be put in the drop box at the main entrance. Letters of interest will be read at the workshop meeting on May 5th and council will appoint the new member at the May 12th voting meeting.
