Saturday October 19, 2024 - We had our pump training at station 23, where we practiced pumping and drafting twice a year.

We had Jaws training with station 14, 15,16,21,23 at station 16. We had three cars to practice our training with. Stabilization, dash roll, roof removal, removing the doors to extricate a victim and more.

Sunday, October 6, 2024 we were called out on a grass fire at 3:32 and we cleared at 10:32. Due to the dry conditions, this fire traveled underground to the moss. When this happens fires can start back up and reignite trees and other brush for days. We brought out our thermal imaging and could see the fire underground but without it you could not see the fire. We called in the DNR around 9:40 so they could take over with their equipment manpower. They informed us they would be checking for days.
We had station 24 and station 21 for mutual aid on this run. We greatly appreciate the help from Station 21, station 24 and the DNR.
