Living North Phoenix Town Hall last night!!!!
Blair Ballin leads this amazing group of community members and businesses that have all come together to help build and celebrate Commumity in the North Valley.
Tonight, honors were given in recognition of a few folks and organizations that exemplify what makes our Community amazing. Followed by a Q&A session with some local candidates ( Julie Read , Danny Mazza and Paul Carver ) concerning issues that are important to our neighborhoods.

Many of you may know that there was a need in the Arizona Legislative District 2 race for a second candidate. After much deliberation and prayers with my sweet wife, we heard the call and happily answered. I am running as a write-in candidate for the AZ House in LD 2.
This is truly a grassroots effort with local volunteers and donations getting the work done. The campaign has palm cards and yard signs available now.

Dear Neighbors and Friends,
Our community thrives when we engage with one another with respect, understanding, and a shared commitment to the future of our students and schools. Over the last few weeks, that shared commitment has been tested, and tension has understandably risen following recent events at the governing board meetings.
During discussions from the dais, I made some mistakes that did not reflect the level of professionalism or the collaborative spirit that this community deserves. Words spoken in public service carry weight, and when they miss the mark, they can create unnecessary division.
In one instance, I used a phrase which, while somewhat common, I now realize could potentially offend. For that, I sincerely apologize. In the other instance, while referring to the type of drama unfolding at the time, I was perceived as calling the community “trailer trash”. That was not where I was going but it was unprofessional for me to use a hurtful phrase like that when I could have come up with a better way to make my point. For that I am also sorry.
I believe true leadership requires acknowledging mistakes and looking for a path forward. In my heart, I want our community to come together, and I fell short of standards I want to emulate.
Our district is facing vital decisions regarding budget allocations, classroom instruction, and ensuring every student has the resources they need to succeed. These complex issues require our full, undivided attention. We cannot afford to let distractions keep us from doing the meaningful work necessary to support our educators and families.
I am fully committed to ensuring that my future communication from the dais is constructive, measured, and focused entirely on the business of governance. I am hopeful we can focus our energy on our schools, and work collaboratively to improve our district for our students, teachers, and parents because there is always ways to improve and make DVUSD better tomorrow than it is today.
Thank you for your continued passion for our community and for holding your elected officials to a high standard.
