Nurse Advocacy Awareness and Support of America

Mission Statement:

To provide unconditional solidarity and support for nurses experiencing workplace trauma or whistleblower retaliation and promote healing of the wounded in our profession. Goals:

To establish a network of nursing professionals that can mobilize to support nurses in each state in times of crisis
To put nurses in crisis in touch

with moral support, community, and legal resources
To establish government policies in each state that will protect nurse whistleblowers from retaliation and protect the full nursing scope of practice
To become the *true* voice of nurse related concerns and issues by raising awareness and becoming agents of change
To empower nurses to get involved in the process of developing legislation and making changes at the government level that will improve the nurse work environment
To establish a consistent presence on Capitol Hill and advocate for the well being of our profession and its future
