This morning pulled us I n two different directions — a showing request and an open house, both at the exact same time. While Carmen held down the open house, I walked through a set of investment properties that were in very poor condition… and it stopped me for a moment. Belongings still scattered around, but no people. A quiet reminder that these spaces were once someone’s home. Someone’s memories. Someone’s life. It was a little heartbreaking, and it grounded me in gratitude and compassion all over again.But like we always do, we ended the day together — reconnecting at the open house, regrouping, refocusing, and getting ready for a small trip we’re so excited about. A chance to learn, grow, and come back ready to make an even more positive difference in people’s worlds.Through the long days, the heavy moments, and the hopeful ones… we’re grateful to be able to do this work.
