G&E's Milkweed Seeds Help us create a better world for butterflies and other pollinators. Spread the love...and some seeds! Hi! Butterflies are important!

We're Garon and Ella and we LOVE butterflies- especially Monarchs! 🦋

After Monarch butterflies were put on the endangered species list in 2022, we decided that we wanted to do something to make sure that Monarch butterflies will be around for kids like us to enjoy for generations to come! We're lucky because we have a field by our house filled with wonderful Milkweed plants! Milkweed is vital to

the life cycle of Monarch butterflies, and without them, Monarchs can't lay their eggs! This is a BIG deal, because the decline in Monarch butterfly populations is VERY important, because it also indicates the health of other pollinator populations like bees and bats, which directly impacts our lives as humans! We have been trying to do our part by collecting and spreading the Milkweed seeds we find in our field. But we still have an ABUNDANCE of seeds! And what better way to help our favorite butterflies get off the endangered list than to share these seeds with our friends and neighbors? So we are going to soon have packets of Milkweed seeds available for anyone would like them! We have also set up a freewill donation page but the seeds are available for FREE! :)

Any donations will go towards supplies for packaging and mailing out our Milkweed seeds as well as other activities such as building bat houses, planting other pollinator friendly flowers/plants, and so much more to help spread awareness (and seeds!) so we can try to create a better, more beautiful world! 🧡

Seeds are free, however any donations are very much appreciated to help cover packaging and mailing costs for Garon and Ella (our favorite little butterfly protectors). By current estimates, the overall number of American Monarchs has fallen by 90% in the last decade!

The decline of Monarchs is directly linked to the loss of milkweed plants in the wild. Milkweeds (all members of the genus Asclepias) are the host plants for Monarchs, meaning Milkweeds are the ONLY PLANT that Monarch larvae are able to eat, and the only plant where adult Monarch butterflies will lay their eggs.

Let's help the Monarchs by spreading some love...and some seeds! If you are interested in getting some FREE Milkweed seeds, send us a message!
