Our bill to hold out-of-state landlords accountable and eliminate blight is headed to the governor’s desk! Landlords from New York and New Jersey take our hard earned dollars and then don’t care about their properties. They hide behind LLCs like New York LLC so they can’t be held accountable. No more! Now these folks must provide a real address, email, and phone number of a person that is responsible for upkeeping these properties. Now we can clean up these properties and restore community pride!

Tomorrow is the 2026 Community Celebration of Northeast Philly & America’s 250th Birthday!

Celebrate with food trucks (along Magee St.), a DJ, games, snacks and more. Vendors from city and state organizations will be there to guide you to any resource you may need.

Let’s gather to celebrate our country as a community! The celebration is this Wednesday, June 24 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Max Myers Playground.
