For twenty years now I have been setting up and running sound for Philadelphia Tabernacle of David. What a crazy, wonderful experience. I'm surprised I lasted this long! 😂

On Sunday, July 15, I supplied and operated the sound system for a Benefit for Dawn's Place and to raise awareness of the very serious problem of human trafficking in the Philadelphia area. The event was hosted by Balance Ministries in East Falls, Philadelphia.

On Saturday, May 6, 2017, I supplied and operated my sound system for the Kingdom of Priests Worship Conference at the New Birth Life Church in Pottstown, Pa. The conference featured a worship band comprised of several worship leaders and musicians from the Philadelphia and local areas. The teachings of Jamie F**t and Mary Faus were super annointed. The only downside to the event was my subwoofer stopped working half way through the event. The amplifier kept blowing fuses (4 in a row) and I decided it needed repair. God blessed me with the money to purchase a rebuilt. powered subwoofer the following Monday. The old subwoofer can rest in peace.

On Friday, May 5, 2017, I operated the sound system for Philadelphia Tabernacle of David's Friday Fire Worship event at HighStreet Worship Center, Burlington, NJ. This was not a concert or performance but a spontaneous outpouring of worship and praise that lasted for almost two hours. The response of the attendees was very good and I was allowed to come back to the church and help operate the sound system during the Sunday morning worship service. I had made some modifications to the configuration of the system and needed to show the church's audio techs how to use them.

On Thursday, May 4, 2017, I supplied and operated the sound system for the 25th annual National Day of Prayer on Independence Mall, Philadelphia. Philadelphia Tabernacle of David led worship at 10 a.m. and the Prayer Program began at 11 a.m. The event was moved from in front of the Visitors' Center to the concrete pad near the Liberty Bell, which was an improvement in comfort and sound. This is the same location that will be used for the Jubilee 2017 Worship event from May 26 through June 3--over 184 hours of continuous worship and prayer.

During June 7-13, I assisted running sound and supplying part of the sound system equipment for Philadelphia Tabernacle of David's Jubilee 20:16 continuous prayer and worship event at Philadelphia's Independence Mall. Running sound at this event was similar to the times when I ran sound for the 24-hour worship events produced by Joyce Moyer. There was a different worship band on stage every two hours for 24 hours with no setup time and no sound check. At Philadelphia, there was a different worship band on stage every two hours for SEVEN days straight. The experience was unforgettable and, I believe, had a big impact on the city.

Last week I help Philadelphia Deliverance Tabernacle restore their sound system that had been partly disconnected two months ago by an outside party using the sanctuary. No one was there to stop them. We reset and rewired the stage monitors and all the stage inputs. The digital FOH mixer had an update installed but no one knew how to use all the changes. We learned how to access all the new capabilities and created new scenes. Everything now works as it should and they know how the mixer functions.

Completed another sound system consultation at Courage Christian Center. They changed the shape and size of their room and had the speaker system re-calibrated by their installer. Unfortunately, many connections on the stage were turned, off, unplugged or not working for other reasons. I reconfigured the mixing console, the monitor system, and the drum microphones. The drummer was very happy that he could hear and adjust everything in his headphones. I also found several cables on the floor behind the stage that were not being used--left-over parts, I guess. The next step for the church is to purchase a digital mixing console.

I had the privilege of running sound at Rock Community Church last Friday evening for the Masters and the Musicians concert event, produced by Todd Moyer. Some of the featured soloists were Rex Carroll of the band Whitecross and Jimi Bennett of the band King James. Also, the TMB performed. I wasn't sure if the church's sound system would be able to handle the heavy metal style of music. Praise God the speakers didn't catch on fire. The music was awesome and the testimonies were very heart-felt and and inspiring. I went home with my ears slightly ringing and my soul blessed.
