A group of Springfield residents recently gathered for an informal and fun Democracy Happy Hour in Wyndmoor. The group heard from both Commissioner Susie Ratsavong and Representative Napolean Nelson about recent happenings and how important it is for each of us to continue to do what we can to engage voters in the process and encourage them to get out and vote.
In addition, newly-elected Committee Person, Elizabeth Eagles, along with her co-volunteer Rachel Fisher shared about their recent work in Harrisburg in PA’s 10th Congressional District. That’s one of the most winnable of four PA House seats in Democrats’ critical effort to gain a majority in the Midterms. Their organization, Changing the Conversation Together (CTC), uses the power of personal stories to connect emotionally with voters.
