There has been a lot of media coverage regarding SNAP payment disruptions-SNAP Payments not being made in November 2025 due to the government shutdown. This does seem like it is going to happen.

How can we support people with a lapse of SNAP benefits in November?

1.) Encourage all individuals to discuss with their assigned County Assistance Office (CAO). CAO information can be found using the below link or by logging into individual's COMPASS Accounts:
