There has been a confirmed sighting of a black bear in the area of Middle Holland Road and Saint Leonards Road in the Holland section of Northampton Township. If you see it, please do not approach it and contact Police immediately.
The Game Commission has been notified.

We had the honor of attending the 5K run today for the Travis Manion Foundation with Council Rock! The high school students did a great job and raised $6,646.16 for the foundation. Not only did the students participate in the 5K but they organized the whole event!

Travis Manion Foundation focuses on empowering veterans and families of fallen heroes to develop character in future generations. The foundation was started after Travis Manion made the ultimate sacrifice back in 2007 during his second deployment in Iraq.

Thank you for letting us be a part of this event! Keep up the good work!

The members of the Northampton Township Police Department extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fellow officers of Officer Kristen Yeager of the Central Berks Regional Police Department, who was tragically killed in a vehicle crash last night while responding to a call.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Officer Yeager’s loved ones and the entire Central Berks Regional Police family during this incredibly difficult time. Her dedication, service, and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🖤💙🖤💙

Yesterday, the Northampton Township Board of Supervisors and the Northampton Township Veterans Advisory Commission held a special Memorial Day ceremony at Robert H. Dembowski, Jr. Veterans Memorial Park.
