Today, we celebrate Labor Day—a time to honor the workers and organized labor movement that fought for the rights, dignity, and protections working people deserve.

The eight-hour workday, weekends, workplace safety protections, and so much more were won because working people stood together and demanded a better future.

I’ll always stand with workers and fight to protect the right to organize, earn a fair wage, and build a better life.

September is Su***de Prevention Month, a time set aside to raise awareness about su***de prevention, and fight back against the stigma that surrounds mental health issues.

Su***de is one of the leading causes of death in America, especially with young men, and it is so important that we provide people the resources they need to get help when they are struggling.

If you are currently having suicidal thoughts or ideations, please call the Su***de Hotline at 988.

On Wednesday, October 14 our office is hosting a Senior Expo at Bucks County Technical High School from 10AM – 1PM! Representatives from state, county, and local agencies will be in attendance to offer information about healthcare, prescriptions, senior services and more!

Vaccinations and free health screenings will be available—and lunch will be served!

Behind every Purple Heart is a person who made an extraordinary sacrifice—and a family who often carried the pain and uncertainty alongside them. Today, we remember the courage of those who served, the wounds they endured, the lives forever changed, and those who never made it home.

Next week, drivers should be aware of overnight construction impacting the ramp from northbound I-95 to eastbound I-276 (I-95 North/New York) in Bristol Township.

The ramp will be closed and detoured Monday, Aug. 10, through Thursday, Aug. 13, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Drivers will be directed to use the southbound Route 413 (Bristol) Interchange to northbound U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) to access eastbound I-276.

Please allow extra travel time, as delays and backups are expected.
