The mission of the Washington Square West Civic Association is to protect and enhance the quality of life in our neighborhood and preserve its heritage by mobilizing the capabilities and resources of our residents, businesses and institutions. We are registered with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of State as a Charitable Organization and are a 501(c)(3) organization.

There will be street closures June 6, 2026 starting at 4pm until 8pm:
13th Street between Locust and Walnut Streets
Locust Street between 13th and Quince Streets
12th Street between Locust and Spruce Streets
There will be no food trucks or street vendors. Just bars, clubs and restaurants having drink specials and food specials at their establishments. The LGBTQ+ Visitors Center will have some elements in the street on Locust Street.
