The 304 Civil Affairs Brigade celebrated 75 years of its existence at the 2024 Dining Out. Commanders and Soldiers of the past and present gathered together as they celebrated the occasion and honored the traditions of the Army.

Among the official party included the brigade command, COL Humphries accompanied by Mrs. Humphries, and CSM Patterson. The 353 Civil Affairs Command, Commanding Officer, COL (P) Kyle and CSM Lo. USACAPOC CSM Benedict who was accompanied by Mrs. Benedict, and MG (R) Ammerman.

Thank you to our vendors and for the hospitality and support to make our event memorable and successful.

This alignment helps enhance mission effectiveness and readiness across the brigade.

🚨 “OPEN RANKS, MARCH!”🚨

An open ranks inspection was conducted to focus on the wear and appearance of the Army Service Uniform (ASU) and the Army Green Service Uniform (AGSU). 1SG Clawson addressed any discrepancies of the uniform in accordance with AR 670-1.

Open ranks inspections build unit cohesion, builds pride in appearance, Soldiers gain a boost of confidence when they meet and exceed standards.

Inspections are a long-standing military tradition, linking current soldiers to those who served before them. This continuity builds a sense of belonging to a larger, historical organization. The discipline required for meticulous uniform preparation and the ability to stand confidently under inspection reinforces a soldier’s sense of duty and respect for Army values.

The 40th Annual Army 10-miler was held today in Washington, DC. Thousands of individuals from around the world participated in the event.

HHC Commander, MAJ Perri (far right), completed the race with an official time of 1:44:11. Join along in congratulating him on the accomplishment!

Ms. Lewis from the 99th Regional Support Command Retirement Services Office provided an informational briefing to ensure Soldiers are well informed of their options upon retirement during September’s battle assembly.

This week, Staff Sergeant (SSG) Jones reaffirmed his commitment to serve by taking the Oath of Enlistment, with Major Liston presiding over the ceremony. The reenlistment marks another milestone in SSG Jones’ distinguished service, and we are honored to have him continue his dedication to the United States Army Reserve.
