Since 2017, housing costs in Pennsylvania have increased by 55%, while rents have risen by 46%. These rising costs are putting an enormous strain on individuals and families across our communities.

Last night, we were proud to partner with the Pennsylvania Small Enterprise Foundation for an important conversation on the housing crisis. Our panelists, including AFP’s own Economic Policy Analyst, Ilana Blumsack, discussed the legislative solutions needed to make housing more affordable and accessible for all Pennsylvanians.

Addressing this crisis requires bold policy solutions and a commitment to ensuring everyone has access to a safe, affordable place to call home.
