📣 NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR SOSNA BUSINESS MINI-GRANTS📣

The South of South Neighborhood Association (SOSNA) is excited to launch our 2026 Mini-Grant Program for local businesses!

🏪 Brick-and-mortar businesses within SOSNA boundaries can apply for grants of up to $2,500 to support projects that strengthen and enhance their business.

Eligible projects may include:
✅ Storefront improvements
✅ New furniture or fixtures
✅ Signage and branding
✅ Equipment purchases
✅ Inventory
✅ Lighting upgrades
✅ Outdoor seating and beautification
✅ Marketing materials
✅ Accessibility improvements

Grant funds cannot be used for rent, utilities, payroll, debt repayment, taxes, fines, or other ongoing operating expenses.

📅 Applications will be reviewed by the SOSNA Board of Directors, and awarded funds must be used during the 2026 calendar year.

🍽️ SOSNA Dines Out is Back! 🍽️

Join SOSNA and your neighbors for our next SOSNA Dines Out at The Sidecar Bar & Grille on Tuesday, June 23!

We'll have two seatings:
🕠 5:30 PM
🕢 7:30 PM

Only 30 tickets are available for each seating, so be sure to reserve your spot early!

🎟️ Adult Tickets: $30
Includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert

🎟️ Kids Tickets: $10
Includes an entrée and dessert

The menu features delicious options including Fried Arancini, Pan Seared Salmon, Bucatini Alla Vodka, Roasted Chicken Al Pastor, and more. Kids can choose from favorites like chicken fingers, grilled cheese, mac & cheese, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs.

SOSNA Dines Out is organized by the SOSNA Economic Development Committee to support our local restaurants and bring neighbors together. SOSNA subsidizes a portion of each ticket, making this a great opportunity to enjoy an amazing meal at a fantastic value while supporting a neighborhood business.

What an incredible day!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for this year's Plazapalooza and helped make it such a memorable celebration of our neighborhood. From the families, neighbors, and visitors who came out to enjoy the festivities, to the restaurants, food trucks, vendors, artists, performers, sponsors, and volunteers who brought the event to life - we couldn't have done it without you.

Plazapalooza is all about bringing our community together, supporting local businesses, showcasing local talent, and celebrating everything that makes Graduate Hospital such a special place to live, work, and play. Thanks to all of you, this year's festival was filled with great food, outstanding performances, local creativity, and an incredible sense of community spirit.

We are grateful for your support and already looking forward to doing it all again next year!
