Today, we sent off the old Engine 14 to its new home in western Pennsylvania. This apparatus reliably served the Township and its residents for 18 years, responding to countless incidents. We wish the Penn Hills community the best of luck with the engine!

Yesterday, after visiting Chief Margavich’s gravesite, Bristol Township Fire companies along with Bristol Township Police Department and the Bucks County Honor Gaurd joined family and friends at the Bristol Township Building. Here, a ceremony took place to memorialize Ed on the George Stuckey Memorial.

One year ago today was a day that changed us forever. We lost a man who was our friend, our mentor, our constant. Chief Margavich was a staple of station life; always around, always helping out, always telling stories. Continue to watch over us Ed, you are deeply missed.
