"The 1776 Project PAC, a group supporting Republican school board candidates..., has spent more than $86,000 on mailers and text messages in Bucks County. Approximately half that has gone toward supporting Central Bucks GOP candidates, with the rest going to candidates in Centennial School District and Pennridge, according to Bucks County campaign finance reports." - The Philadelphia Inquirer.

What we have to ask ourselves is why? Why would people with no stake in our community and no ties to our schools pour this kind of money into local races? It’s not out of care for our kids, our teachers, or our taxpayers. And it’s certainly not for the good of the candidates they prop up.

Super PACs like this don’t invest out of kindness, they invest to control. To turn our classrooms into their battlegrounds and our district into their experiment. They have no business in local elections.

These are our schools, our tax dollars, our children. Decisions about Central Bucks should be made by the people who live here, not by political operatives looking for their next win.

Our community is not their playground. We refuse to be their next talking point or their “flipped district” trophy. We will not sell our schools. Our kids are not their game.

Amazing news, Central Bucks!

The latest Pennsylvania Value-Added Assessment System (PVAAS) results, which measure student growth over time, not just achievement, show that students across every grade level and subject are exceeding expectations and achieving “Above” or “Well Above” growth across the board. 👏🏼

The remarkable progress over just one year is the direct result of the dedication and collaboration of our entire Central Bucks community: the expertise and commitment of our teachers, the focus and hard work of our students, the tireless efforts of our support staff, the thoughtful leadership of our administrators, the partnership of families who work alongside us every day, and the steady guidance of the School Board that continues to put students over politics.

Growth like this is the product of a district that believes in excellence, dedication, and continuous improvement.

The CBSD Neighbors United team is proud of every student, educator, and staff member who helped make this success possible. We are grateful to our Board for keeping politics out of our schools. And we are thankful to be part of a community that puts students first.

We want to share this important annoucement from Dtown League:

"As SNAP benefits aren't going out on Nov 1st, the economy is worse than ever, local immigrant families are trying to make ends meet while the heads of their households have been taken away by ICE, funding for mutual aid has been slashed, and health insurance is about to skyrocket, it's an important time to step up and help our neighbors.

On Tuesday, Nov 4th from 7am-7pm, we are organizing a BIG mutual aid drive. Collections will be taken at all poling locations in Doylestown Borough and Township. While we are inviting people across all political parties to donate if they'd wish, we are using the poll greeters of the Doylestown Democrats to help with the collections, so you can drop the donations with the Dems. We're donating to two amazing & effective non-profits that we have worked with in the past who already have effective and impactful systems in place.

Are you able to do more? We are looking for people to help us transport the donations to the non-profits. We need people with bigger cars (wagons, SUV's, minivans) who can help. We could also use some muscle to get the donations in and out of the vehicles. Send me a DM, email [email protected] or email me directly at [email protected] if you'd like to be a part of this or future efforts.

And VOTE! Coming together as a community is essential right now. AND the people who end up in office make decisions for us on the local, state & federal level. Food drives are great, but they don't make up for loss of funding for these mutual aid organization and food programs at schools, and SO MUCH MORE! Every election counts, now more than ever."

The Republican candidates for our school board proudly sought and accepted the endorsement of a far-right 1776 Project PAC, the same national group pushing book bans, attacking teachers, and dragging culture wars into classrooms across the country.

They pretend to be moderates, but their actions tell the truth: they’ve invited chaos and division back into our community. This is irresponsible. Their so-called “moderate” stance is nothing but political theater. In reality, they’ve aligned themselves with the same MAGA playbook that embarrassed and divided Central Bucks just a few years ago.

While this PAC has endorsed candidates in districts across the country, they didn’t even bother to learn our name, calling Central Bucks “Chalfont” in their endorsement literature. That tells you everything you need to know. They’re not here for our students or our community; their only interest is using our schools as a political playground to advance their far-right agenda.

Next Tuesday, November 4th, let’s send 1776 Project PAC a message: Central Bucks belongs to us, to our community, to our kids, to our teachers and staff, and to our parents and taxpayers. Central Bucks is not for outside extremists. We will not let outsiders drag national culture wars back into our schools.

We voted out the chaos once, and we’ll do it again.

Love this!

Our daily morning date was extra meaningful today! We dropped off our ballots at the Doylestown Court House before going for our morning coffee and walk. I’m so incredibly thankful to Dane for his support. I could not do this without him.

Nov 4th is eight days away- what’s your voting plan?

Democratic candidates are focused on Central Bucks itself, continuing the rollout of full-day kindergarten, renovating aging schools, and investing taxpayer dollars directly into classrooms and learning. That's leadership our community

This is the next installment in a series of interviews with school board candidates from across Bucks County.
