We love a great game day party—but the most important win happens after the final whistle.

Be the MVP and plan your ride home before kickoff, don’t drink and drive!

As a winter storm approaches, we wanted to share some important information for staying safe and warm. Jefferson County has opened several warming centers to provide a safe haven from the cold. Please take advantage of these resources to protect yourself and your loved ones. Remember to check the operating hours for each location. Let's all look out for one another during this challenging weather.

Winter weather is settling in, and Missouri is expected to experience dangerously cold temperatures in the coming days. Preparing ahead of time is important to help keep everyone safe during extreme cold.
Warming centers provide safe, heated spaces for individuals who need relief from the cold.

If you or someone you know needs assistance, please view the list of available warming centers here:

Public service announcement from the City of Pevely!

Another reminder for you all! Please be safe this weekend!

❄️ Winter Weather Safety Reminder ❄️

With winter weather forecasted for this weekend, we ask all residents to please take the following precautions to stay safe:

🚗 Road & Parking Safety
• Beginning Friday afternoon and evening, please stay off the roads if at all possible.
• We ask that no vehicles be parked on the street through the weekend. Parking in your yard will be allowed during this weather event to help crews safely clear the streets.

🚓 Emergency Services
• If the Police Department goes into emergency operations, calls will be handled by priority, and response times may be longer than usual.
• If you need a warm place, the Police Department lobby will be available.
• We ask residents to shelter in place at home this weekend when possible. If you lose power and need assistance, you may call the Police Department—officers will respond as soon as they are able.

🏠 Prepare Ahead
• Stock up on water and non-perishable food items.
• Make sure electronics are fully charged.
• Have a plan in place for your personal safety.

🚧 Please Be Kind to Our Crews
• Our crews will be working throughout the weekend—please give them space to do their jobs safely.
• Vehicles left in the street prevent plows from properly clearing snow. Any snow pushed up against parked vehicles will not be cleaned up by the City.

⏳ Patience Appreciated
• Crews will be working around the clock to clear streets as quickly and safely as possible. We appreciate your patience as they work to reach every street.

💧 Protect Your Water Lines
• To help prevent frozen pipes, allow a small drip of water to run during extreme cold.
• Open cabinet doors to let warm air circulate around pipes.

We will continue to share updates as conditions change. Thank you for helping keep yourself, your neighbors, and our crews safe this weekend. Stay warm and stay safe!❄️
