2nd round AI has been in full swing!! Girls continue to have straws dropped daily as some cycle back into heat. Hunter has been busy, and showing Cesar the ropes with breeding while Don and Martin push on with the farming operations!! It's a busy time of year, but everyone has a role to keep things moving forward!!

Spring breeding can be hectic and busy, but thankfully this team of 3 works well together to keep the ball rolling. Hunter, Cesar, and Martin have been hard at work processing animals, while Don is gearing up for farming. We have a handy crew in Montague!!

Calves got put in the weaning pen, and mama's got processed. It was a very busy day, but thankfully we have a good crew here who help keep things running smoothly.

'tis the season!! Irrigation water started running down the canal today, signaling the start of a busy season growing crops to feed our cattle in house. The grain, alfalfa, and grass are already showing us that summer is just around the corner!!

Still in the thick of calving season, we love this time of year!! Momma's are intense and watchful, calves are healthy and active, and we're grateful.

Over 50 bulls were ultrasounded today!! It's always neat to see how their carcass merit via ultrasound compares to their carcass merit on paper. The rain held off, and the boys worked smoothly!!
