Petaluma Area Chamber of Commerce Where Business and Community Thrive Together🤝 Just as Petaluma is a unique city, the Petaluma Chamber is considered to be unique.

Founded in 1906 in an effort to develop local manufacturing, the Petaluma Area Chamber of Commerce has been a notable leader in community activities throughout the ensuing century. A recognized lobbying force for business on local issues, the Chamber is also one of the most progressive in the area, a forceful advocate for affordable housing, best environmental practices for business, overall stewardship of the community's quality of life. The Chamber conducts a number of events each year including Business Expo, Annual Membership Dinner, ribbon cuttings, seminars, workshops, mixers, Community Recognition Awards and more.

What began as pancake-flat pastureland has been transformed into one of the region’s most distinctive golf experiences. Rooster Run Golf Course was thoughtfully shaped around the property’s natural character, preserving three meandering creeks lined with native willows, cottonwoods, and oaks, along with two ancient oak trees that remain part of the landscape today.



The transformation was substantial. Approximately 370,000 cubic yards of soil were moved and sculpted to create a dynamic landscape of rolling hills and continuous elevation changes. Six lakes, 39 strategically positioned fairway and greenside bunkers, and the area’s only island green provide both dramatic scenery and a rewarding test of golf.



The result is a course that feels both established and naturally connected to its surroundings. Rooster Run blends beauty, strategy, and playability, offering a layout that challenges accomplished players while remaining enjoyable and approachable for golfers of all abilities. From its natural waterways and mature trees to its signature island green, every round offers a memorable experience and a unique sense of place.

MarinHealth’s roots in the North Bay run deep. What began in 1952 as Marin General Hospital– a single community hospital built to serve Marin County – has grown for the past seven decades into an integrated, locally owned healthcare enterprise. As we approach our 75th anniversary in 2027, MarinHealth today includes MarinHealth Medical Center in Greenbrae, the MarinHealth Medical Network (which is made up of 66 clinics with primary and specialty care offered across the North Bay), and the MarinHealth Foundation – all united under one name an strengthened by a strategic alliance with UCSF Health. Through every chapter, our mission has stayed the same: providing our communities with world-class, compassionate care closer to home. That commitment is exactly what brought us to Petaluma in December 2024, when we opened the MarinHealth Multispecialty Clinic at 335 S. McDowell Blvd. in the Washington SquareShopping Center. The clinic is a nearly 14,000-square-foot facility with 28 private exam rooms.

Today the clinic offers local families convenient access to primary care and a broad range of
specialties, including cardiology, internal medicine, OB/GYN and midwifery, orthopedics, pediatrics, urology, spine care, and urgent care, along with an on-site imaging center for X-rays, ultrasounds, and cardiac testing – so even more of the care Petaluma residents need is
available without a long commute.
