We had the honor and privilege of welcoming a new group of residents to the Peoria Police Department’s Fall session of their Citizens’ Academy. The Academy is an outstanding hands-on look into the Department’s inner workings. It is an excellent way to gain a deeper appreciation of our heroines and heroes in blue and develop a closer relationship with those GREAT AMERICANS!

Good news, we are eligible for a grant from our credit union, Arizona Financial Credit Union. The grant is based on the number of votes we receive between 24 August and 13 September. After reviewing applications and completing our eligibility checks, we are excited to inform you that your organization has been selected to advance to the next phase of Arizona Financial Foundation's 2026 Local Causes grant program.

Get to know your neighborhood officers and learn about different areas of the department such as the Aviation Unit, Dispatch and Communications, SWAT, the K9 Unit, and more!

Classes take place every Wednesday from 6pm-9pm.

The PPCAA had the honor and privilege of welcoming a new officer on 12 August, a lateral transfer from Colorado Springs. He received one of our PPCAA coins and a PPCAA information pamphlet. The front and back of the coins are also pictured. Thank you and ‘Welcome Aboard’ to this hero in blue!
