We were proud to accept another generous donation today from Pete Moore Chevrolet, Inc., who provided Pensacola Beach Lifeguards with two brand-new Chevrolet Colorado trucks to add to our fleet of lifeguard vehicles and help make our beaches even safer.

These vehicles are part of the "Safe Shores" program, which aims to continue improving safety and rescue operations on Pensacola Beach.

District 4 Commissioner Ashlee Hofberger, Pensacola Beach Lifeguards, and Escambia County Public Safety recognized the Pete Moore Chevrolet team for their donation and commitment to public safety during a ceremony today at Casino Beach.

Pensacola Beach, the largest park in Escambia County, will continue to thrive thanks to this initiative, ensuring it remains a beautiful and accessible destination. It was truly an honor to spend time with the wonderful members of the Cordova Rotary Club discussing the continued growth and transformation happening across Pensacola.

Our community is filled with people who care deeply about the future of this area, and I am grateful to work alongside so many dedicated leaders and neighbors.

As Pensacola continues to grow, my focus remains on thoughtful economic development, strong community partnerships, and ensuring progress benefits the families who call this place home.

Service is at the heart of who we are in Escambia County, and Sunday was a beautiful reflection of that shared commitment.

Standing with Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, Escambia County EMS & Emergency Communications, Escambia County Fire Rescue, Pensacola Police Department, and Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office at First Responders Sunday was both humbling and inspiring.

These heroes don’t seek recognition—but they certainly deserve it.

I am grateful for a community that sees them, supports them, and stands beside them.
