FYDEC is currently planning our next social event. We’re hoping to host this event at the end of August (this is tentative), but WE WANT YOUR INPUT!

This would be a SOCIAL EVENT ONLY meaning we would gather with the intent to socialize & fellowship with likeminded people.

We need your help! What’s the best location? (Downtown, Central Pensacola, Westside, Eastside… you tell us!!!)

What about time? Since this is a social event, we’re flexible! Should we hold this social event on a Thursday Evening, Saturday Afternoon, or Sunday anytime?

Join FYDEC as we support local students in the annual “STUFF THE BUS” school supplies drive in Escambia County!

This event will happen on Thursday, July 24th from 6AM-6PM at the Walmart on Mobile Hwy, Creighton Rd, & Blue Angel Pkwy.

Can’t make the event? No worries! FYDEC is also collecting supplies individually & would be happy to drop your donation off for you. Please reach out to us directly if you would like to help students succeed by donating supplies! 📚✏️🚌🌎

Today, our District 1 “Representative” voted for this Big Beautiful Bill — but there’s nothing beautiful about it for Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, or Walton County.

❌ Cuts funding for our local schools and healthcare
❌ Slashes Medicaid and SNAP
❌ Blocks solar and energy-saving initiatives
❌ Raises costs for working families
❌ ADDS $3.3 TRILLION to the national debt

He’s not looking out for us — he’s looking out for billionaires and special interests.

Today, FYDEC held our June General Meeting. We approved our chapter bylaws, increased our membership, & discussed how to strengthen civic engagement in our community ✅
