Fall Cleanup in Penn Yan
BRUSH Pickup will begin October 19th
Please have all brush placed at the curb by October 18th
Leaves will not be collected at this time, please pile them separately from brush for the leaf only pick up.
Brush can be taken by homeowner to Village dump site by making an appointment, after the final pass.
LEAF PICK UP WILL BEGIN NOVEMBER 16th
AND BE COMPLETED BY DECEMBER 4TH
Leaves should be placed at the curb prior to November 15th
Leaves can be placed in piles, paper bags or plastic totes. Mulched
leaves will not be picked up unless they are bagged. Paper bags
can be picked up free of charge at Village Hall- 111 Elm Street by requesting at the front counter. Pinecones and walnuts along with fruit must be placed in paper bags or containers. A limited number of containers available upon request for walnuts, pine cones and fruit.
NO plastic bags are allowed.
The Village will NOT collect large tree limbs over 3โ in diameter, appliances, pieces of lumber, construction debris, plastic bags, furniture or other household items.
Residents are asked NOT to pile debris near street lights, utility poles, guy wires, storm water catch basins, fire hydrants, sign posts, water valves, trees, ditches or any other obstructions.
There will be no other regular pick up until Spring
