Have you ever wondered how the fire department provides water to a location in the county where there may not be any fire hydrants?

Stations 2B & 4B trained probationary firefighters M. Taylor and Winters on tanker operations. Tanker operators is not only part of their required Taskbook training to be released from their probationary status but they are also expected to perform these task when assisting with rural water supply needs where they may have limited access to fire hydrants.

Training never stops here at PFD!

The last several days have been extremely busy for the men and women of the Pearland Fire Department. Multiple working fires, critical emergency calls, nonstop training, and countless moments that demanded professionalism, courage, and compassion.

Lives were saved, pets were rescued, and our number 1 priority, our citizens, were served with pride and care.

The long hours, preparation, and relentless training that make those outcomes possible are what we are about. The level of dedication, teamwork, and heart displayed by the members of this department continues to define what it means to serve this community with honor.

TRAIN LIKE IT’S REAL BECAUSE ONE DAY IT WILL BE.

The Pearland Fire Department just wrapped up an intense Multi-Casualty Incident (MCI) Drill and this wasn’t just training, this was a full-scale, real-world simulation.

Multiple agencies. Multiple patients. Controlled chaos.
From initial dispatch to patient triage, treatment, and transport, our crews and regional partners operated exactly how they would on someone’s worst day, because that’s what our citizens deserve.

This is what readiness looks like.
This is what commitment looks like.
This is what it means to be an elite department serving a rapidly growing community.

We are very proud of every member who showed up, leaned in, and executed. Because when the call comes in we will be ready.
