Ben enjoyed visiting last week with leaders at the Ronald Reagan Newsmaker Luncheon. A special shout out goes to Tiffany Stire, executive board member with Crimefighters of Louisiana. Crimefighters brings awareness and resources to victims of violent crime. Protecting our community against the dangers of violent crime is a critical facet of our justice system. Protecting our citizens, our families, and our way of life on the Northshore is very important to Ben, as he moved his family to the Northshore in the 1980s and has resided here ever since. ⚖️

🎙️Important updates from the Louisiana Attorney General’s office were presented last night at the East St. Tammany Republican Women meeting. Included in the AG’s current litigation efforts is a fight against the horrible abortion drug mifepristone that the AG’s office is fighting all the way up to the U.S. Supreme Court seeking to stop the illegal importation of the drug across state lines into Louisiana.

In attendance was a Louisiana pro-life hero, Cynthia Collins (pictured below), who has for decades fought to protect women and babies--everything from overseeing a local pregnancy help center in Slidell to ministering and testifying both nationally and internationally.

Sacred scripture enjoins, “Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute.” Prov. 31:8. Ben is a lifetime supporter of being such a voice for the voiceless—preborn innocent children made in God’s image. ✝️
