Hey all! John Duresky for Congress will debate GOP candidate Amanda McKinney on the issues important to you, on live TV on from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Sept. 30!

Have questions you’d like to hear both of them answer? You are encouraged to help shape the conversation by submitting questions for consideration in advance of the forum. Questions can be submitted online, and will be reviewed in advance to help ensure the forum addresses a broad range of topics. Both candidates will be asked the same questions. The forum will be livestreamed on Northwest Public Broadcasting’s YouTube channel and AARP Washington’s page. It will also air on KTNW-TV before election day and will be posted in its entirety on AARP Washington’s webpage shortly after airing.

Three nonpartisan organizations are coming together for a candidate forum for voters in Washington’s 4th Congressional district to hear from the two candidates vying to represent them in Washington, D.C.

Vote No on I-001 when general election ballots arrive in mailboxes in October. This initiative puts LGBTQ+ students at risk especially those with difficult home conditions. Protect our young people and reject this harmful initiative!

The Seattle Times Editorial Board urges voters to reject I-001!

They highlight how the harmful, MAGA-sponsored initiative is poorly written, poses a real risk to students’ access to mental health care, and could expose already vulnerable kids to harm in instances.

Vote NO on I-001 this November.

I-638, which will be on the general election ballot in the fall, could require young girls to undergo humiliating gender checks in order to play in competitive sports. This is wrong and dehumanizing. Stand against hate and vote NO on I-638!

The Seattle Times Editorial Board says voters vote No on I-638 on the November ballot.

Under I-638, girls as young as 12 could be subject to gender checks that are a violation of privacy. "The initiative is part of a national movement to disenfranchise and dehumanize the transgender community," writes the Editorial Board.

Stand against hate and vote NO on I-638 when your November ballots arrive.

John Duresky for Congress's opponent, Amanda McKinney, took in nearly $1 million, outraising John by about 7 to 1. Super PACs, largely funded by AI and cryptocurrency interests, spent $2.2 million to ensure McKinney would be the Republican pick.
