Progressive leadership is representing the interests of ordinary people through political change and the support of government actions. When my neighbors turned colleagues and I decided to run for office as first time elected officials, we vowed that we would push and aspire and transform.

I have been working hard on behalf of the residents of this City to bring resources that we often have to look outside of the City to access. Since being sworn in June 2021, I have sponsored the following approved legislation:

✅ R-05-2022 A Resolution to Pursue Installation of Playground Equipment at 7th Street Park

✅ R-16-2022 A Resolution to Amend the City Council Rules Section 307

✅ R-25-2022 A Resolution Establishing a Health and Wellness Advisory Committee

✅ R-26-2022 Utilize ARPA Funds for Playground at 7th Street

✅ R-34-2022 A Resolution to Establish a Charter Review Process

✅ R-35-2022 A Resolution to Promote Financial Literacy Amongst Residents of Glenarden

✅ R-36-2022 A Resolution to Establish a Storm Water Grant Program

✅ R-30-2023 A Resolution to Establish and Preserve a Community Garden Program in the City of Glenarden

And up next….

A Resolution to Establish a Farmers Market in the City of Glenarden

Repost from School Board Member Shayla Adams-Stafford

🚨📢🚨📢🚨📢 PG Parents/ Guardians

Does your student need tutoring?

It's here!!! So many families reach out inquiring how to get in person support for their students. For many families with students struggling in subjects like Math, the cost of individualized tutoring is simply too much.
