SW Resources was founded in 1964 by an organization now known as The Arc and the Junior League of Parkersburg, West Virginia. From a modest beginning in a converted store front building, and growing through several rocky and unsuccessful years, SW Resources now occupies three buildings, including a 18,000 square foot warehouse. Through the years, the organization grew thanks to our commitment to q

uality services, the help and tremendous support of our volunteers, the generosity of our local community, and the dedication of both our talented staff and client employees. Current divisions include SW Graphics, Mail Plus, Cardability, Marble Tree, SW Industries and the Burdette Rehabilitation Center.

Big congratulations to William, who earned his GED!

While participating in SW Resources’ Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Transitional Employment Program, William took on the challenge of working toward his GED while pursuing other personal goals.

For many adults, returning to education means overcoming obstacles, rebuilding confidence, and proving to themselves that it’s never too late to achieve something they once thought was out of reach. William embraced that challenge and remained focused on completing the journey he started.

Earning a GED is more than passing a test; it opens doors to new opportunities in employment, training, and continued education. We’re proud to celebrate this accomplishment and all the hard work it represents.

Congratulations, William! We can’t wait to see what you achieve next.
