Jimmy Hansen for Hubbard County Sheriff Campaign Committee is proud to say we are Hansen for Hoffman! We are officially supporting Donn Hoffman for County Commissioner in District 3.
Honestly, Donn probably doesn't need much of an introduction to most of you. He’s been a staple in our community for decades. If you don't know him from his business, Hoffman Electric—which he started right here in town back in '97—you definitely know him from his years of service with the Park Rapids Fire Department, where he even served as Fire Chief.
Donn is just a good, down-to-earth guy who has always shown up for his neighbors. Between running a successful local business for nearly thirty years and managing a fire department budget, Donn knows exactly what it takes to look after a bottom line. He’s all about common-sense spending, making sure our hard-earned tax dollars are used wisely, and keeping our community strong without breaking the bank.

🇺🇸 Remembering What Matters Today 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is a beautiful time for family gatherings, but it’s also a powerful reminder of the cost of our freedom.

Today, Jimmy and his family visited cemeteries to honor those who laid down their lives for our nation. They were humbled to spend time with Staff Sergeant Ron Masanz, a 97-year-old Marine who served in Korea, as they paid tribute to the fallen heroes who came before us.

Officially in the books! 📝 This past Tuesday, Jimmy Hansen made it official and filed to run for Hubbard County Sheriff.
It was an honor to be there for this milestone, and I’m so excited to be part of this team! We’re feeling energized and ready to work hard for our community. Looking forward to a great campaign ahead! See you on the trail!

Jimmy had a great time stopping out at the Nevis Senior Sunset this past Friday. It was an honor to be invited to join the students as they gathered to share a meal and celebrate the close of their high school journey.
Jimmy took the opportunity to congratulate them on all their hard work this year and shared a few quick, friendly pointers on staying safe as they head into a busy summer and their next chapters. We are so proud of our local youth and wish them all the best in their futures!
A huge thank you to everyone involved in coordinating this event, and a special thanks to the kids for having Jimmy there to share in the celebration.

Public safety is all about working together and showing up for one another when it matters most. As first responders continue to battle the Flanders Fire in the Crosslake area, we are reminded of the power of mutual aid.
Thank you to Park Rapids Fire Chief Joe Carlson and the PRFD engine crew who traveled out yesterday to stand on the lines and support our neighboring departments. We are thankful for their dedication and glad to report they are safely back home.
Please keep the Crosslake community, the families utilizing the Crosslake Community Center shelter, and all remaining active crews in your prayers today. 🙏
