Join us for an exciting Family Learning and Resource Night on March 6th from 6:00 to 7:30 PM! Families will have the opportunity to visit each grade level for engaging Dr. Seuss-themed reading and math activities, with chances to win fantastic prizes. Afterward, explore the resource tables in the gym to discover valuable community resources. Don't miss out on this fun and educational evening!

The date for money and sponsor sheets to be due has been extended to Tuesday, November 19. Don’t miss out the Read-a-thon is next Friday, November 22.

We have kicked off Sponsor collecting for the Read-A-Thon! Look for the flyer, like the one below, that will be sent home with your child.

What is a Read-A-Thon: It’s a reading challenge and fundraising event where participants read a set amount of time and collect donations from friends, family, and community members.

How it works: From October 22nd-November 15th, students collect donations from sponsors for the promise to read at our in school Read-A-Thon. They then turn in the funds to the school by Friday November 15th to participate. On Friday November 22nd, the students will be called to the library in two groups, one morning group and one afternoon group. They will read on their own or assisted, and they will do an interactive reading.

Benefits: Read-a-thons can help encourage students to read more and develop lifelong reading habits. They can also help motivate children to enjoy reading and overcome reading obstacles.

Our Story

Welcome to Chisholm Trail Elementary PTO!

We are excited to start the 2019-20 school year! Our monthly PTO meetings are held in the Library at 5:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise announced. Childcare is available! We are always excited to see new faces and have more input on decisions we make for our school. It is never too late to join - we would love to have you! Membership forms are available on the PTO bulletin board located inside the school entrance near the office and can be turned in at the next PTO meeting or to the office at anytime. If you are unable to attend meetings but would like to volunteer in some way, please fill out a membership form and we will add you to our e-mail list and let you know when need some extra hands! We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!
