Thanks to Dolores, Deborah and Paula for representing our club and helping pack the boxes. Thank you to our members who donated food items. Service above Self!
Hurricane season is here, and preparation can make all the difference.
Thanks to the incredible generosity and teamwork of our community, nearly 40 Rotarians from across Brevard County came together to help Aging Matters Brevard pack 400 emergency food boxes for local seniors. In just 35 minutes, volunteers completed the task, and thanks to the overwhelming support, there were enough donated supplies to prepare 100 additional boxes.
These aren't just boxes of shelf-stable food. They represent comfort, security, and the reassurance that our older neighbors won't have to face an emergency alone.
A heartfelt thank you to all Nine Rotary Clubs throughout Brevard County that organized food drives, raised funds, and made this effort possible.
Your compassion and dedication will have a lasting impact on our community.
As hurricane season continues, we encourage everyone to take a moment to prepare. Check your emergency supplies, create a plan, and don't forget to check in on older family members, friends, and neighbors who may need extra support.
Together, we can help ensure no senior faces a storm alone. 💙
