This weekend’s Mercado Pacoima will feature a special plant giveaway alongside our fresh produce distribution!

We’ll be giving away 60 fruit trees, 60 chile plants, and 60 tomato plants to community members while supplies last. Stop by, pick up fresh produce, and take home a plant to help grow your own food at home! Can't wait to see you there!

Our community was truly feeling the zen at this month’s Wellness Day! Participants enjoyed a guided meditation followed by a relaxing sound bath experience led by . For many, it was their very first time experiencing something like this, making the day even more special.

Now that YUTEP has wrapped up for the school year, we can’t help but look back on all the memories we’ve made together. From service days at Bradley Plaza to learning from inspiring guest speakers, there was never a dull moment for our YUTEPers.

Thank you to everyone who made this year so special. YUTEP returns September 2, 2026 and we can’t wait to do it all again. Until next time!

As we prepare for our next Mercado Pacoima, we’re calling on our community to help support one another by sharing any extra fresh produce you may have. We believe in neighbors feeding neighbors, and if you have fruits or vegetables growing at home that you’d like to donate, we’d love to help get them into the hands of community members instead of letting them go to waste.

If you’re interested in donating, please contact us so we can coordinate pickup or fruit harvesting support. Every contribution makes a difference and is deeply appreciated!

Our CIs recently helped clean up the community on Van Nuys & Dronfield while also learning how to make a lasting impact beyond the cleanup. They practiced reporting bulky items through 311 and strengthened their community outreach skills to help keep our neighborhoods clean and connected.
