Thank you to all of the presenter from today. A special thank you to David Houston for allowing us to use your property for teachers to complete their water quality section of the workshop.

A great fun week of learning about water quality, recycling, soils, native wildlife, tree recognition, use of trees, Project Wet, & about our own fish hatchery in Enid, MS. 🌳☀️

Our Mississippi Community Volunteers in Franklin County have begun quilting an American flag quilt in honor of America’s 250th birthday!

A drawing for this fabulously patriotic quilt will be Saturday, October 24. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.

FORESTRY EDUCATION: The celebration of our Arbor Day Poster Contest winners continues! The second-place winner for 2026 is Zelia Bancroft from Carmel, Indiana! This year’s contest prizes included an education savings deposit curtesy of Indiana529 for our top three contest entries. Congratulations, Zelia!
