🇺🇸 Freedom Festival 2026 is almost here! 🇺🇸

Make plans to celebrate Independence Day with us on Saturday, July 4, at Oxford Lake Park and the Oxford Civic Center for a full day of family fun!

Enjoy a patriotic parade, carnival games and prizes, a petting zoo, food vendors, swimming, and more before ending the evening with a spectacular fireworks show that’s longer, brighter and louder in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary 🎆

Bring your family, gather your friends, and spend the Fourth of July making memories at one of Oxford's favorite summer traditions.

The deadline to sign up for Co-Ed Church League Softball is June 17. Gather your team and get ready for a great summer season of softball and fellowship!

🗒️ Registration Deadline: June 17
💵 $375 per team (non-refundable)
🗓️ Season: July 14–August 7
🏆 Tournament: August 10–17
🎾 Games: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays (possibly Fridays for rainouts)

If it feels like everyone has a favorite squishy, slime, fidget toy, or tiny treasure right now… you’re not imagining it! 🤩 That’s why Oxford Parks & Recreation is excited to host our very first Fidget & Trinket Trade Night this Friday at Oxford Civic Center!

Whether you have a growing collection or just a few items, come spend the evening trading, collecting, and meeting friends from around the community.

✨ What to bring:
NeeDohs, fidget toys, squishies, slimes, dumplings, trinkets, sensory toys, mystery items, tiny treasures, blind bags, keychains, and any other fun little finds you’re willing to trade!

🎁 Mystery freebies available while supplies last!

🥤 Simz Fizz will be on-site serving delicious dirty sodas and specialty drinks!

✨ We’ll have trading tables and trading mats, community swap areas, and a beginner-friendly table hosted by Oxford Parks & Recreation so even first-time traders can join in and feel welcome.

💃🕺 Put your dancing shoes on! Our next Senior Dance is coming up on Friday, June 12, at the Oxford Civic Center.

Join us from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM for dancing, fellowship, and live music by Duo Sonix. Admission is $5 per person and includes a light meal and drinks.

Cheerleaders ages 4–12 are invited to register for the upcoming PARD flag football season.

📍 Oxford Civic Center

☑️ Participants must turn 4 by June 1st and cannot turn 13 before August 1st
☑️ Child MUST be present at registration to be sized for uniforms(All new uniforms this year!)

Cost: $175 (includes registration fee, complete uniform, pom poms, and 2-day cheer camp in July)
