* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette,
Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, the
following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell,
Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton
and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Brown,
Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware,
Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Hocking,
Licking, Logan, Madison, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike,
Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From late tonight through late Wednesday night.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A warm front will lift north across the Ohio Valley later tonight into Wednesday. Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms will be possible. Widespread rainfall amounts of up to an inch can be expected with local amounts of 2 to 3 inches possible.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
People in the watch area, especially those living in areas prone to flooding, should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Eagle Creek near Glencoe.

* WHEN...Until late this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, McDaniel Street in Sanders and Route 36
And Old Sparta Road near
Sparta.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:15 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 19.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.2
feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
this morning.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet

Multiple rounds of showers are expected today, with the first round beginning this morning. Scattered strong to severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening, and storms that produce heavier rainfall could lead to localized flooding.

A cold front will move into the region from the west later today. Ahead of the cold front, a line of showers and thunderstorms will move across the region. Strong to severe storms will be possible in areas west of I-65. The main threats will be heavy rainfall, damaging winds, and marginally severe hail.

Showers and thunderstorms will move into the region Tuesday afternoon into the overnight hours. Some storms may reach severe intensity. The main hazards will be damaging wind gusts and large hail. Any locations where storms move over repeatedly may have ponding on roadways or isolated flooding with heavy rainfall.
