Workforce Solutions recently hosted Vibration Certification - Category I training from May 11-15, providing technicians, operators, and reliability professionals with the foundational skills needed to support predictive maintenance programs and improve rotating machinery reliability.
Participants learned the fundamentals of vibration analysis, including vibration principles, measurement techniques, instrumentation, sensors, data collection methods, and machine condition monitoring. The training also emphasized safety practices, high-quality data collection, and recognizing common machine faults before they become costly problems.
The course was led by Kevin Guy, a vibration analyst with 47 years of experience and instructor for the Vibration Institute. After four days of intensive training, participants completed the certification exam, taking the next step in advancing their maintenance and reliability expertise.

Congratulations to everyone who completed the training, and thank you to Kevin for sharing his extensive knowledge and industry experience!
