Join us for an exciting season of live music! From June through October, we’ll be hosting concerts every second Wednesday of the month at Norman Myers Park (8700 Midland Blvd., Overland, MO) from 6–8 PM. These free, family-friendly events are the perfect way to spend an evening in the park with us—just bring your lawn chairs, blankets, snacks, and drinks (no glass containers, please).

We’re also kicking things off with a special free concert on Saturday, May 16 at 2 PM at Norman Myers Park, featuring the St. Louis Civic Orchestra. Come celebrate America’s 250th birthday with us following the Overland Community Parade earlier that day!

🚮 🛻 Every year Councilman Bennett, Mayor Marty, and I drive around all of Overland with a trailer picking up large items that our seniors are unable to haul up to the spring clean up themselves. If you or a neighbor are a senior and have items you need picked up, call the number on the flyer below and we come haul that away for you! This is such an amazing spring cleaning program so please take advantage of it to get that unwanted junk to the dump! 🛻 🚮

Get ready for a morning of fun, community spirit, and patriotic celebration at the 2026 Overland Community Parade on May 16 from 10 AM to Noon! The Overland Business Association (OBA) and the City of Overland are proud to bring this exciting event back, and this year’s theme—“America’s 250th Birthday”—promises plenty of red, white, and blue creativity.
The parade will stage and begin at Overland Christian Church on Lackland, then travel east on Lackland, turn north onto Woodson Road, pass through downtown Overland, through the Overland Farmers Market, and ending at the Overland Community Center. Watch for signs along the route and come cheer on the participants!
Want to be part of the parade? Community members, businesses, and organizations are all welcome to join the fun. To participate, pre-register by submitting a Parade Registration Form, a copy of your driver’s license, and proof of insurance to:

Get ready for some holiday fun as our popular Christmas Light Trolley Tour Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning! That's right, we are excited to announce our popular Annual Christmas Trolley Tour is back and we want YOU to be a part of it. Join us as the judge in our City of Overland Residential Outdoor Christmas Light Display Contest.

We have tour dates set for December 11, 12, and 13, with trolleys departing at various times each night. Space is limited, so be sure to grab your tickets starting November 29, 2025 at 8:30 am at the Overland Community Center OR register online starting at 6 am at: https://secure.rec1.com/MO/overland-mo/catalog. Tickets are only $5.00 per person. And hey, here's a special offer: children 3 years old and under can ride for free if they sit on their parent's lap.

During the tour, a special visit is made to the Overland Lions Club where guests can indulge in Christmas treats and admire the exquisite Special Christmas Decorations.

Please be aware that tomorrow afternoon, at 2pm, there will be a Celebration of Life ceremony for an Air Force veteran at the Overland Lions Hall (2358 Lackland). Part of the ceremony will involve a 21 gun salute and the playing of Taps. Live ammo will NOT be discharged, but the ceremonial blanks used will sound like real gunfire.

It’s clean up time and the City of Overland is here to help its fellow residents with the Annual Fall Clean Up! This event is open to all Overland residents and an Overland identification will be required to par-take in this event.). The "Fall Clean Up" will begin on Saturday October 18th from 8 am - Noon at Legion Park (On West Milton, behind Legion Park). There is a limit of one (1) vehicle per family (sorry no box trucks allowed).

Items that will be accepted are the following: Scrap Iron or Steel, Household Appliances, Furniture, Household Clutter, Brush and Tree Limbs.
Electronic Recycling will be available onsite, for a cash fee. Any size TV or CRT Monitor, LCD Television Monitors: $25 per item. All other electronic items will be accepted free of charge.

Some items that will NOT be accepted are the following: hazardous materials, paint, car parts, and garbage / litter items. For more information on hazardous household waste, please contact St Louis County at 314-615-4285.

Trolling for Trash will be available for eligible Overland seniors who are at least 62 years old and are disabled. Sign up by no later than Oct 14th because spaces are limited. Volunteers 18+yrs of age and older are needed to help with this event. To sign up to volunteer or for further information about the event, please contact the Overland Community Center at 314-428-0490.
