While social media provides a valuable method of quickly providing information directly to the public, it is a unique forum that requires special attention and guidelines. PCHD is committed to maintaining a respectful environment that shares correct information. To do this, staff members review comments and posts on

• Information otherwise determined to be inappropriate or in violation of the mission of the page. Users who consistently violate these rules may be blocked from commenting. Information posted to any PCHD account should not be considered medical advice and should not replace advice from a health care professional. The PCHD will make reasonable efforts to monitor content posted on its social media platforms; however, we cannot always respond in a timely manner to online questions or requests for information. By submitting content to PCHD’s social media accounts, you understand and acknowledge this policy, and that this information is available to the public.
