[Orland Park for All] 🏥 A Healthier, Stronger Future for All of Orland Park!
Exciting news from the Chicago Tribune today regarding the heart of our community! The University of Chicago Medical Center has officially announced a major expansion of its Center for Advanced Care right here in downtown Orland Park.
As our village continues to grow, ensuring that every resident has access to world-class, specialized healthcare right in their own backyard is a massive win for our collective well-being.
What this means for our community:
Accessible Care for Families & Seniors: Expanded local clinical services and specialized care mean our families and seniors won't have to make the long drive into the city for top-tier academic medical treatments.
A Vibrant Downtown Triangle: This expansion directly complements the ongoing progress at the Main Street Triangle (143rd and LaGrange), seamlessly blending world-class healthcare with the new walkable retail, dining, and public spaces currently under construction.
Good Jobs & Local Growth: More healthcare professionals and staff working in the area means a stronger local economy and more support for our hometown small businesses.
A thriving downtown that prioritizes both health and community spaces makes Orland Park a better place for everyone to live, work, and raise a family.
What are you most excited to see come to the Main Street Triangle next? Let’s talk in the comments! 👇

Another promise kept.

At the June 1 Village Board meeting, the Fiscal Year 2025 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report was officially accepted — a full month ahead of the state deadline.

The Village also received an unmodified (clean) audit opinion, the highest level of assurance an independent auditor can provide. This achievement demonstrates the strong financial stewardship, transparency, and accountability that residents deserve.

When Mayor Jim Dodge and the Orland Park for All team took office, they pledged to restore trust in government and strengthen the Village's financial management. Delivering a clean audit and completing the annual report ahead of schedule is another example of that commitment in action.

Congratulations and thank you to our exceptional Finance Department for their hard work, professionalism, and dedication. Their efforts help ensure Orland Park remains financially strong and well-positioned for the future.

Please join us in recognizing this outstanding accomplishment!

Exciting news for the South Suburbs! 🇵🇱✨ It looks like Orland Park might become home to a brand new Polish Cultural Center. Given how deep Polish roots run in our community, this would be an amazing hub for traditions, events, and culture right in our backyard.

🇺🇸 REMEMBERING D-Day: 82 YEARS LATER 🇺🇸
On June 6, 1944, more than 150,000 Allied troops from all walks of life stood side-by-side to storm the beaches of Normandy. It was a defining moment in history where unity, courage, and a shared commitment to freedom changed the world forever.
Today, Orland Park for All pauses to honor the profound sacrifice and extraordinary bravery of the soldiers, sailors, and airmen who faced the impossible. They represented the very best of what we can achieve when we stand together against oppression.
We owe an immeasurable debt of gratitude to our local veterans, our Gold Star families, and the legendary Greatest Generation.
Let’s honor their legacy today by strengthening the bonds of our own community and preserving the freedoms they fought so hard to protect.
Drop a 🇺🇸 or ❤️ in the comments to join us in honoring our heroes.

🇵🇱 Moving Orland Park Forward: Celebrating Heritage and Community Vision 🇵🇱
The Orland Park for All team was proud to attend the recent "Pierogi with the Mayor" Town Hall at the Signature Barn—an evening filled with great conversation, community spirit, and an exciting vision for our village's future.
The highlight of the event was a deeply inspiring discussion regarding a proposed Polish Cultural Center. This center would stand as a vibrant hub for heritage, education, and community gatherings, honoring the deep roots and rich traditions of Orland Park's Polish-American community.
We are incredibly proud of our local leadership's strong presence and commitment to this project. Mayor Dodge, Clerk Mary Ryan Norwell, and Trustees Dina Lawrence and Joanna M. Liotine Leafblad were all in attendance, listening to residents, sharing ideas, and showing their enthusiastic support for a project that unites and enriches us all.
Special thanks to the Polish American Medical Society and the Polish Highlanders Alliance of America for their incredible advocacy and partnership in exploring this wonderful addition to our cultural landscape.
When we invest in celebrating our diverse heritage, we build a stronger, more vibrant Orland Park for everyone. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting proposal!

Exciting news for our community! Today, we officially broke ground on the much-anticipated redevelopment of Doogan Park. 🚧🌳
We were proud to have Mayor Jim Dodge alongside Trustees Dina Lawrence and John Lawler attend the groundbreaking ceremony to officially kick off this project. For decades, this park has been a gathering place for generations of local families, and today marks the first major step toward transforming this space into a modern, vibrant recreational hub that all of our residents can enjoy for years to come.
This project is part of our ongoing commitment to improving our local infrastructure, updating our public spaces, and investing directly back into our neighborhoods to ensure Orland Park remains a wonderful place to live, work, and play.
Once construction is complete, the updated park will feature:
Upgraded sports fields and court facilities
Brand new recreational amenities for all ages
Modern community gathering spaces and pavilions
Improved safety lighting and accessible parking
A huge thank you to our village leaders, staff, parks department, and everyone who joined us today to mark this milestone. We are working together to build an even better, brighter future for everyone in our community!
