🌍 International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists

Rangelands cover more than half of the world’s land surface and support pastoralists, wildlife, and rural communities across the globe. Yet their importance—and the people who steward them—are often overlooked.

This short video highlights why rangelands and pastoralists matter for food systems, biodiversity, and resilient landscapes. It’s a timely reminder that sustainable grazing and local knowledge play a critical role in our shared future.
