The first meeting of La Crosse County's Data Center Study Committee is at 5:30 p.m., today (Wednesday, June 10) at the La Crosse County Administrative Center, 212 6th St. N., La Crosse. The committee will hear from a broad range of voices on data centers over the next 12 months before reporting back to the La Crosse County Board.

We're launching Homes for 100, a campaign to house 100 people in La Crosse County who are currently homeless.

Every donation goes to the Pathways Held Lease and Rent Support Fund at La Crosse Area Community Foundation.

46.6% and counting! ☀️

Congratulations to all the newly elected and re-elected local officials who are taking office this month! 14 of 30 La Crosse County Board Supervisors sworn in were women - including the Board Chair and Second Vice Chair. This is what representation looks like. 46.6% and counting!

What a night! I am so excited and honored to serve District 19 and La Crosse County with this crew.

Ten newly elected members of the La Crosse County Board were sworn in during Tuesday’s Organizational Meeting, following the Spring Election.

Pictured from left to right are Supervisors Beth Arentz-Clements, Beth Piggush, Angie Manke, Joanna Drazkowski, Joseph Carty, Anna McBride, Jeff Fimreite, Lia Manock, Kathy Allen, and Steve Duffrin. Please join us in welcoming them to the Board and thanking them for their commitment to serving the public. Thank you also to our returning Board members.

At the same meeting, Supervisor Tina Tryggestad was re-elected as County Board Chair. Supervisor David Pierce was elected First Vice Chair, and Supervisor Kim Cable was elected Second Vice Chair. In her remarks, Chair Tryggestad noted, “In this room, we represent all 121,000 residents” of La Crosse County.

Today is the day I’ll be sworn in to County Board! It’s looking like an action packed day between my regular job, board orientation, first official board meeting, and then scooping my kiddo up from soccer practice 🤪

Also, a quick reminder that Saturday 4/25 is Neighbor’s Day! I’ll be out volunteering with a group of my OptumServe colleagues. I believe they’re still looking for volunteers, if you’re willing and able! More info here ⬇️
