🍕 Saturday plans at Edenbrook Omro: build your own pizza and take the toppings very seriously.

One of our amazing Activity Directors, Becky, came in over the weekend and turned the dining area into a little pizza kitchen for our residents! Everyone got to build their own personal pizza with exactly what they wanted on it, which of course led to some very important decisions about sauce, cheese, pepperoni, sausage, and just how much is considered “too much.” 😄

The best part was not just the pizza, though. It was the conversation, the laughs, the teamwork, and the chance to make something together and then enjoy the results. ❤️

A big thank you to Becky for spending part of her Saturday making the day extra special for our residents. We appreciate you!

And yes... they tasted as good as they looked. 🍕🙌

💛 A heartfelt thank you to Community Church Oshkosh! 💛

Edenbrook Omro would like to extend a HUGE thank you to the wonderful volunteers from Oshkosh Community Church for the time, energy, and kindness they shared with our residents and our facility.

On Thursday, volunteers spent time with residents who wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather, taking them outside for walks, fresh air, conversation, and companionship. Afterward, they kept the fun going with a Bingo event for our residents! ☀️🚶‍♀️🎉

Then, over the weekend, they came back and rolled up their sleeves to help refresh our outdoor spaces by trimming trees, cutting back overgrowth, cleaning up, and giving our patio areas some much needed attention. 🌿

The work they accomplished was greatly appreciated, but even more meaningful was the time and care they gave to our residents. Acts of service like these make a lasting impact and remind us how fortunate we are to be surrounded by such a caring community.

From all of us at Edenbrook Omro, thank you for showing up, lending a hand, sharing your time, and bringing joy to our residents. We are incredibly grateful. 💛

A huge thank you to local businesses and community - Pickett Produce , Jackie Schmidt (Schmidt Farms), and Roger Laabs - for their generous donations to help us bring a little fall magic to Edenbrook Omro 🍁 🎃 this has helped transform our outdoor spaces into a cozy fall atmosphere for residents, family, and staff to enjoy. 🪩✌️ Edenbrook Omro went back to the ’70s today, and nobody wanted to come back! 😂🌼

Today was PACKED with fun! Our residents enjoyed a full blown ’70s Disco Party complete with LIVE music from Lucie Rose, and she absolutely brought the room to life! 🎶💃
Of course, our staff understood the assignment and showed up looking like they had just stepped out of 1977. Tie dye, florals, peace signs, bright colors... subtlety was NOT invited. 😂✌️

And because dancing and grooving require proper refreshments, we also had our own fall bar set up with apple c***r and plenty of sweet treats for residents and staff to enjoy. 🍎🍂☕️

Between the music, costumes, c***r, treats, laughter, and a little disco magic, this was one of those afternoons that reminds us why the little extras matter so much. 💛

A huge thank you to BEAMING Inc. for visiting Edenbrook Omro and bringing their wonderful horses to spend time with our residents! 🐎

Our residents enjoyed a special morning filled with stories, fun facts, petting the horses, and even the opportunity to walk alongside them. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments shared throughout the morning.

Programs like this are such a wonderful way to create connection and bring joy to our residents, especially those living with dementia. We are so grateful to BEAMING Inc. for creating these memorable experiences for our community!

Thank you again for spending the morning with us, BEAMING! We cannot wait to have you back!🐴❤️
