Omaha households have a lot of services available: weekly garbage, recycling and yardwaste collection that's paid for by property and sales taxes. Bulky items can be disposed of at a very low cost because the City subsidizes much of the cost. We also provide the pedestrian litter and recycling containers in many business districts.

☀️ For most, schools are out and summer is beginning!

With more kids playing outside, riding bikes, and enjoying time in our neighborhoods, it’s important we all stay aware and look out for one another.

🚛 As part of the communities we serve every day, safety remains a shared responsibility:

➡️ Slow down in residential areas and near parks
➡️Stay alert for children, cyclists, and pedestrians
➡️ Minimize distractions and keep your focus on the road

Small actions can make a meaningful difference in keeping our neighborhoods safe, clean, and connected.

Let’s start the summer off right—together.
