Governor Bob Ferguson has emphasized the importance of strengthening state agency collaboration to better serve Washingtonians, and Sync has been leading the charge since 2018!

Sync is Washington’s largest modern infrastructure improvement effort. Sync is tasked with finding ways to make state infrastructure financing programs more efficient and affordable for communities.

Sync includes the PWB, programs housed in the Washington State Department of Commerce, Washington Department of Ecology, Washington State Department of Health, WSDOT, and the Transportation Improvement Board.

PWB staff joined the Lakewood Water District's groundbreaking ceremony for a PWB-funded construction project that will help eliminate PFAS in the community’s three groundwater wells. An existing pump station onsite will also be relocated and replaced to make room for a new treatment plant. Special thanks to Representative Mari Leavitt for her appreciation of our program and mission to empower Washington communities in building and maintaining sustainable infrastructure!

We are glad to be able to offer funding for this important project and to help communities in Grays Harbor County!
