I am a concerned father and resident of School District 227. I am a product of the Rich Township educational system. High and Rich Central HS, I went on to receive a BA in Economics from Northwestern University, a Masters in Public Health (MPH) from The University of Illinois at Chicago, and a MS in Information Systems from DePaul University. My wife is also a product of Rich Township. She is a Hu
th and RC Alum. She also graduated from DePaul University and The University of Chicago. We take great pride in our education. The foundation of our educational success can be traced to the diligence and hard work of the Rich Township 227 teachers and administration. We wanted to provide that same foundation for our children and so upon starting our family, we moved back to where we knew. We have been residents of Olympia Fields for the past 15 years. We have three daughters, two of whom are currently attending our high school alma mater. Thus far, the educational experience of my daughters and their friends has not been on the same level as what my wife and I and our peers enjoyed. Without placing blame, I want to be an agent of change to help bring back the greatness and pride that was once very evident across all three Rich High Schools Campuses. I bring a unique perspective of having both first-hand understanding of existing issues as well as ties to past successes. I want the children of District 227 to have an even better educational foundation and opportunity for success that my peers and I were given. I feel we each have an obligation to give back to our community and to improve it for our children. This is my objective. This is my passion.
