🌧️ Quick Weather Update: Weather in the West

We have had a small cell pop up in the western portion of the county, and a few spots may see some light to moderate rain. What we are watching north of us in the Muskogee area also looks like it will slide through the western side of the county.

At this time, we are not seeing any concerning indicators with either cell. We will keep monitoring radar trends and will update you if anything changes.

Stay tuned, stay ready, stay safe! 🌦️💛

🌼🔥 Spring Into Preparedness: Burning Safety

Spring and summer seem to be crossing paths — we have had plenty of rain, but also plenty of warm temps and wind, and that combo can dry out fuels faster than folks realize. Even after a good soaking, Oklahoma sunshine and wind can turn grasses crisp in no time.

🌾✨ A few friendly reminders as we head into spring cleanup:
✅ Know your conditions — wind, humidity, and recent temps matter
✅ Follow burning rules — safety first, every time
✅ Report ALL controlled burns — big or small
✅ Stay weather‑aware — conditions can change quickly

📞 Report controlled burns to dispatch: 918-967-3377

Even with recent rain, warm temperatures + Oklahoma wind = fast‑drying fuels. A small fire can spread before you know it.

Let’s enjoy the sunshine, get our spring chores done, and keep our community safe while we do it. 🌤️🌱

☔️🌧 Rain Update for Haskell County 🌧☔️

Looks like those showers took a little longer to make their way into our area than expected. The band we are watching is moving eastbound, and most of the county should see a little bit of rain as it passes through.

Right now, nothing in this band is looking concerning, but we will keep monitoring it closely and share updates if anything changes.

You may want to grab that umbrella today — just in case! 🌂😊

Let’s take a look at that weekend weather — and it’s a good one. The rain we saw earlier in the week has moved on, and we are stepping into some warm, summer‑preview temperatures. Think low 90s during the day and mid‑70s overnight.

🌙🌧️ EVENING & OVERNIGHT WEATHER UPDATE 🌧️🌙

We may be in for a few more showers as we move through the evening and into the overnight hours. This band is still slowly trickling in from the S/SW, bringing rain off and on with it.

Right now, we are not seeing anything concerning — no severe markers showing up at this time. We will keep watching the radar closely and will update you if anything changes.

Stay weather‑aware and have a calm evening. 💙🌧️
